AUG. Heroes

This month surely celebrated our country’s National Heroes for a few good weeks since day 1. Proof? Check out the Linggo ng Wika 2015 -Komiks ang bida event! I wasn't able to see my favorite comic artists as I expected to, but I did get to meet Manix Abrera the artist of Kikomachine Komix! and I was so happy to see old college friends who were guest artists there as well. Meanwhile in an unexpected turn of events, the host and my fellow Disney babe, carencosplay  insisted I join the cosplay competition because my costume was in theme with the event so omg ahahaha impromptu catwalk! ))) I didn't win of course, coz I was unprepared but thanks for the push gurl, LABYUU! <3

As for my boys, the best support team who were also my photographers & my bodyguards.. they were super awesome for accompanying me from start to finish! My Josie Rizal first debut would not have been successful without them~! *w*//

The day right after that, I attended THE BEST PET EVENT EVAHHH!! Hhhnnnggghhh the moment I entered the hall, pets everywhere! Thanks to my ultimate animal-buddy KuroSeirei  for inviting me today, we had such a spazzfest petting and taking photos of every awesome pet we saw. It's not all shown here coz I literally took a lot so I might blog my adventure instead soon. <3 For now, these are my main highlights: including our visit to a mini cat cafe, which will be opening next month. The staff was so friendly & their set-up was just so inviting that we spent most of our time in their humble cafe playing with an entire batch of rescued cats (puspins)!

I swear this event had soOo much activities going on, for both pet and their slaves.. este pet owners! And since I fully intend to check them all, we also participated in a small paint-your-cat activity called "Pet & Gogh" from PURINA Philippines hehe! I painted a portrait of Miochan while my friend tried to paint Saku! ) My pet hauls was some new cat litter, an odor-absorbent scratching mat, a lot of free pet food samples & a Crazy Cat Lady book to go with everything nyaha! IT WAS SO FUUUUN! I look forward to attending more pet events like this, thank you PetExpress~!!

Meanwhile, I got busy with more commission work as well. But I was so busily bored that I got these funny expression stickers for my sewing machine. This is what happens when I buy kawaii face stickers >.< I have never seen my sewing machines so happy~! )

Week after that, we had another girl's day out with my south gals, plus one from north whom we converted into a southie nyahaha! :3 Many thanks to colorpsychedelic  for suggesting this amazing place for lunch, I love it so much coz.. IT WAS THE LEAKING CAULDRON OF EVERYTHING MAGIC! *3* They had potion bottles on tables, a stack of spell books, a shelf of wands & trinkets, and walls of endless art that I can't stopp taking pictures of! ) Kisses to Maita for all those meaningful hugs & Zaza for those wonderful make-up tips! Another girls bonding soon pleth~! *mwah* <3

So after that magical lunch at Hogwarts, we then headed off to the "pièce de résistance" which was our kitteh adventure at the Le Cat Coffee Shop - Cat Café Las Piñas <3 <3 <3 We were three south girls training our north friend, who's a darling for spending the day with us, to be a cat person nyahaha! She was quite nervouscited at first but then she realized that cats really don't hate her. ) The fur babies were really DIVINE! Most were sleepy heads, but we definitely got to enjoy the best of them during playtime whee! And then, I also got to help a dear friend visit the orphanage for her birthday. Greeting dearest Kai Hiyori again a belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! *huggles* Thank you so much for inviting me as well to celebrate it with these wonderful kids in the RSCC, Quezon City Science yesterday~! <3

Another thing when I am bored, finish my LINE play’s avatar room! Can I just.. say something crazy? COZ I LOVE CRAZY! ) Finally my Frozen Fever Anna-inspired room is done! I tried to stick to the movie, Norwegian colors and all. I added some elements of what I picture Anna's room would have like the aquarium (I figured she'd rather sing to animals than to read a book), the paintings on the wall (where she can sing to her heart's desire), a floral indoor swing (to enjoy the outside world).. and I am pretty happy it turned out well~

P.S. and no, I don't have a kitchen because she has lots of chocolate & cake that Kai brings her >///< <3

The next week, a few friends and I participated in the Kawaii Fashion show at the Cyberzone Cosplay Craze! Since my ipad was dead the whole time, all of these photos were grabbed from my photographer friends taga-gloria & Richmond Chi, who were super awesome for capturing the moments! *glomps*

To all who came and watched the show, thank you so much for supporting & I hope you enjoyed it as much as we had fun preparing for it! It was a mix of so much wonderful concepts: the beautiful fashion designs by A Little Decadence, our accessories by Dark~Sweet~Soul, kawaii bags by M'Lady, our wigs and shoes by Vogue Royal Le Croix / Vogue Royal Cosplay and our kawaii Make up by Z *3* Thank you also to Cyberzone and Cosplay.ph for having us in your fun-filled event! To my fellow models, STAY KAWAII~!

Boredome strikes again! Woke up one morning to find Saku hugging his Catbus plushie, from our playtime last night. So I gave Mio-chan her tiny Catbus keychain and I hugged my Catbus pillow so that we're all the same ) Yes we have our own Catbus, each with our own size preference~

Met & fought with my late papa Pepe's ghost and gahhh what have I donnnnnnne? *^* ahahaha also, a "scandal" happened concerning too many ladies that I got so confused who my great great granmama is! ))) Thanks again to our photogs for coming this early and my fellow heroes, kudos to you for bearing the heat all day! <3
